Pumis in Need of New Homes

Bentley

Bentley came from a shelter in Kentucky where he was owner surrendered due to a change in living circumstances.  The owner said she'd gotten him from a shelter in Florida. He is 2-3 years old and light gray in color.  He is about 18 inches and 25 lbs.  He is an athletic, happy neutered male who loves to play fetch.  He shows good manners to both people and other dogs.  He likes to sit on lap and really enjoys attention.

Four Pumis were rescued in June from a person who could no longer keep them. Two are still available to the right homes. For more information, contact Mary Reardon at pumiohio@fuse.net.

Libby & Charlie

Libby (on the left) is a 4 year old female, 18.5 inches and 32 lbs, black with white markings on her face, body and feet. She was an outside dog. She is very curious and lively and loves to be petted. She has good manners with people she trusts, but is wary of strangers. Although currently spayed she has mothered a litter. She needs a home of her own where her playfulness and loyalty can be expressed. Her foster home is in Cincinnati, Ohio. No registration papers.

Charlie is a 5 year old neutered male who is about 19 inches and 35 lbs.  He is lively and a bit fear aggressive, but very loyal to his owner.  He has a pretty face and is gray and white in color.  He needs a home where he is the only dog and has an outlet for his high energy.  He shows some dog aggression and needs training.
